I have hands-on experience caring for many different kinds of animals, each with their own personalities, routines, habitats, and comfort levels. I understand that caring for a reptile or fish can be very different from caring for a cat or small dog. Some pets want plenty of playtime and attention, while others feel safest when their space, boundaries, and familiar routines are respected. I take the time to learn what is normal for each animal so I can provide thoughtful, personalized care rather than a one-size-fits-all visit.
I also have two Bengal cats of my own, so I have firsthand experience with intelligent, energetic, curious cats that need plenty of enrichment and interaction. Living with Bengals has taught me the importance of reading feline body language, keeping active cats mentally stimulated, respecting their boundaries, and noticing even subtle changes in their behavior. That experience helps me adapt to cats with many different personalities—from playful and outgoing to shy, independent, or a little spicy.
I have experience administering medications and understand how important accuracy, consistency, and patience are when caring for a pet with additional health needs. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions and work to make medication time as calm and comfortable as possible. I also pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and appearance so owners can be kept informed about how their pets are doing while they’re away.
